Installation & Maintenance Guide For Infrared Emitter Lamp

Dear, thank you for using our high-efficiency and energy-saving Infrared Emitter Lamp.

Due to the particularity of the material and structure of infrared emitter lamp, we recommend that you remind the relevant personnel to fully understand the following points before installation and during lamp working:

1. The quartz glass tube and heating filaments of infrared emitter lamp may break during large vibrations, so please avoid large vibrations and squeezing when moving and stacking.
2. Avoid taking lamp or pinching the end on either side of lamp by one hand, because the end of the quartz tube (especially sealing part) is easily broken by outside pressure.
3. Please wear soft gloves to pick up and install the heating lamps, which can not only prevent oil and sweat soiling surface of lamp, but also avoid any hurt or causing scratches to the operator’s hand if the heating lamp break during installation.
4. When installing the heating lamp, please avoid rigidly fixing the quartz body or the ceramic base of lamp, although the thermal expansion of infrared lamp is small, but the deformation of your equipment may cause the heating lamp damaged during the heating process. Please install the lamps in the way recommended by us as you can, or use the special mounting accessories provided by us (the ceramic bases at the ends of the heating lamp and the mounting accessories are freely matched, and keeping a gap of 3 to 5mm in the axial direction); if using our elastic clamps, please ensure that the heating lamp will not be damaged due to thermal deformation of our equipment.
5. If you are using lamp with a reflective layer, please turn the side without reflective layer towards the heated materials.
6. During the installation process, please try to avoid collisions between the heating lamp and equipment, tools, etc., especially the end parts of the lamp. If your lamp have a reflective layer, please avoid hard objects scratching or rubbing the surface of the reflective layer during installation, especially the gold-reflective layer.
7. Some heating lamps have strong visible lights when they are working, please do not look at lamps directly without professional glasses to avoid irritation to the eyes.
8. To avoid any possible scalds, please do not touch the heating lamp when the heating lamp is not completely cooled.
9. If possible, please put the ends of the heating lamp (sealing part or unheated parts) in a low temperature area (not more than 200℃) to extend the working life of lamp. For example, you can extend the sealing part or unheated parts to the insulation layer or outside of your heating equipment.
10. Normally, infrared lamps are installed in horizontal position. If you have special requirements like vertical installation, please inform us when ordering.
11. Whether the cables of lamp have insulation or not, we recommend that you put on extra insulated fiberglass sleeve or ceramic sleeve to avoid leakage risks.
12. In order to reduce troubles during installation, we suggest you use our professional lamp accessories or inquiry from us.
