Medium wave quartz infrared heat lamps are particularly suitable for the fast heating of surface or thin materials, and the range of IR radiation wave is 2.2-4.0μm. Plastic, water and other solvents absorb well this medium wave radiation. Because of its long working life and economical efficiency, medium wave infrared lamps are popular used in continuous oven or tunnel heating processes, such as making natural herbal medicine or drying the tea in a continuous running oven.

We have 12mm and 14mm transparent quartz tubes for making infared heat lamps, and the heating lenth can be up to 2.5 meter. A ceramic white layer or gold coating layer can be fixed on the sureface of quartz to reflect more than 90% IR energy back to heated objects.
