Principle of Quartz Infrared emitter lamps Quartz infrared emitter lamps utilize the high temperature generated by current passing through the filament to produce intense infrared radiation. These radiations have strong penetrating power, allowing them to directly heat the molecules inside the material. Infrared rays heat objects without direct contact, making the drying process faster. Compared to traditional heating methods (such as convection heating), infrared radiation directly transfers heat to both the surface and interior of the material, reducing energy loss and heat transfer time.         2. Advantages of Quartz Infrared emitter lamps Fast Heating and Energy Efficiency: Since infrared radiation directly heats the material, the transfer time is significantly shortened, reducing energy loss during the heating process. Additionally, infrared emitter lamps quickly reach the required temperature, eliminating the need for a preheating phase, thus improving production efficiency.   Uniform Heating: Quartz infrared emitter lamps provide even heat distribution across the entire conveyor width, ensuring that all products are exposed to the same level of heat, guaranteeing consistent heating for each product. This is crucial for improving drying quality and reducing product inconsistency. The flexible arrangement and design of the lamps allow operators to precisely control heat intensity and distribution, enabling fine-tuning of the drying process based on specific product needs.   Space Savings and Process Optimization: The compact design of quartz infrared emitter lamps allows for easy integration into various conveyor dryers, resulting in a more compact overall equipment design, which is easier to arrange and operate.     Twin Tube Short Wave Infrared Radiant Heat Lamps are widely used in high-efficient industrial fast heating applications. The IR lamp is made of quartz double tube. The heating filament is tungsten alloy material. We have 23×11mm and 33×15mm quartz twin tube for different customers. The total length of twin tube IR lamp can be up to 6.0 meter. In order to better convey and focus on the heated material all the IR radiation emitted from the IR lamp, the special gold reflector or white reflector will be coated and fixed directly on the quartz surface.

     

     

     

     

    Twin tube shortwave radiant infrared heat lamp is designed with high heating power, the range of radiation wave is 1.0-1.4μm, it is particularly suited for fast response heating processes. This short wave infrared radiation penetrates more deeply into materials, as they can obtain infrared radiation full-efficiency within seconds. Meanwhile has the following advantages:

    • High Efficiency and Energy Savings:
      Direct radiant heating reduces energy loss, offering 20-40% more energy efficiency than traditional methods.

    • Improved Quality:
      Uniform heating prevents local overheating, ensuring clear textures.

    • Wavelength Matching:
      Different materials absorb infrared radiation at different wavelengths (e.g., plastics prefer mid-to-short wave infrared). The appropriate type of quartz tube must be selected accordingly.

    • Temperature Control Strategies:
      Temperature control needs to be combined with thermocouples or infrared sensors for closed-loop control to prevent temperature overshoot.

    • Installation Design:
      The spacing and angle of the infrared tubes need to be optimized to ensure uniform radiation coverage.

    • Extended Equipment Lifespan:
      By reducing thermal stress on mechanical components, maintenance frequency is lowered, extending the equipment’s service life.
