What is carbon infrared lamp?

Carbon Infrared Heating Lamps are made of transparent quality quartz glass tubes and high temperature resistant carbon heating filaments. Quartz glass tubes as radiation body, when infrared lamps are power on, the carbon heating filaments reach high temperature in a short time as a light source and emit out lots of infrared rays through quartz tube radiation body, meanwhile, surrounding objects will absorb these amounts of infrared rays from our carbon quartz heating lamps and be heated very fast. 

What is the infrared wavelength of carbon radiator quartz lamp?

Carbon medium wave infrared heating lamps are designed with special carbon fiber heating filament, which are suitable for fast heating of surface or drying water, and the main range of IR radiation wave is 2.0-4.0μm.

What is the difference between EDEN carbon lamp and Heraeus Carbon lamp?

Heraeus carbon lamp is made of straight type carbon filaments, and EDEN carbon lamp is made of spiral carbon filaments. The main differences between straight and spiral carbon are their shapes and structures, and their response time is different. 

We will design and produce spiral carbon lamps with the same power as Heraues carbon lamp,  but our carbon is made of spiral structure and when we put power on lamps, the current will run more distances than straight type to full power so the response time will be longer than straight type. For example, straight carbon lamp need 10 seconds to run to full power. And our spiral carbon lamp will need 60 seconds to run to full power. 

If heating lamps are working in a continuous drying oven or machine, our spiral carbon lamps can be replaced for Heraeus original straight carbon lamps. If you will turn on and off the carbon lamps very frequently, like several times in one minute, then we do not suggest our spiral carbon lamps to replace Heraeus straight carbon lamps.

Can you custom production for carbon medium wave IR lamps?

Carbon infrared heating lamp can be used in applications which needs heating temperature from 40-300 ℃, especailly lower visiable lights requested. We have 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 14mm, 15mm and 19mm single quartz tube for different length and different power. The total length of single tube carbon IR lamp can be up to 2.5 meter. 

Twin tube carbon medium wave infrared heating lamp can be used for application which needs heating temperature from 40-400 ℃, especailly lower visiable lights requested. We have 23×11mm or 33×15mm double quartz tube for producing different length and different power. In order to better convey and focus on the heated material all the IR radiation emitted from the IR lamp, the special gold reflector or white ceramic reflector will be coated and fixed directly on the quartz surface.

Can your carbon infrared lamps be used in industrial drying?

Carbon medium wave infrared heating lamps are designed with special carbon fiber heating filament, which are suitable for fast heating of surface or drying water and inks, and the range of IR radiation wave is 2.0-4.0μm. Because of its low color temperature and matched medium wave infrared radiation, carbon medium wave infrared lamps are widely used in industry screen printing for textiles, emulsion drying, tea drying, food and vegetables drying, civilian application like infrared heater for warming, fabric laminating, rubber and latex drying.
