(Summary description)In order to better convey and focus on the heated material all the IR radiation emitted from the IR lamp, the special gold reflector or white reflector will be coated and fixed directly on the quartz surface. The use of a coating reflectors on IR emitters will obtain an additional increase of the IR radiation energy to the heating material. So the heating efficiency and time will be faster than clear quartz tube IR emitters. Besides, through the appropriate distribution of the emitters inside the machinery and the distance from emitter to be heated material, it’s able to get a better reflective angle (60°~80°) for even heating temperature, especially the end parts of products.
Ceramic white reflector infrared lamp
Ceramic white reflector is a reflective ceramic layer, which directly fixed on the surface of quartz tube. It is able to reflect about 70% of the IR radiation to the heated object. And the ceramic white reflector can resist the heating temperature over 800℃.

Gold reflector is a with gold layer, coated and fixed directly on the quartz tube. It is able to reflect about 90% of the IR radiation to the heated object. And the gold reflector can resist up to a working temperature about 600℃ by properly cooled.

Let us see the following video to feel the heating temperature on reflect layer side and without gold layer side for heating IR lamps.
We can obviously feel the heat in the direction of the infrared heating, but the infrared radiantion heat is very low in the direction of gold coating. This is because the gold coating reflects more infrared radiation back to the direction of heating. We can also confirm the above views through test temperature data and temperature rising trends.




According to the measured temperature data and the final lamp surface temperature, the surface temperature of the tested heater lamp with gold coating is 110 ° C higher than that without gold coating. This shows that the gold layer does reflect infrared energy, we also can confirm this from the following contrast.

All the datas are tested in an open environment, if we distribute lots of the quartz IR heat lamps in your drying machine or conveyor heating oven, we can image that we can reach a faster heating temperature with gold reflect layer IR lamps. The gold reflector IR lamps can save lots of energy consumption when we want to have a continous and constant heating temperature.
