220V 950W Gold Reflector Infrared Heating Lamps Leather Wrinkles Eliminating Infrared Lamp
Category:
Leather and Textiles Infrared Curing
Automotive Seat Materials (Whether Genuine Leather or Synthetic Leather) May Develop Wrinkles During Production or Use, and Infrared Heating Lamps Can Be Applied to Eliminate These Wrinkles, Restoring the Material to a Smooth State.

The advantage of infrared heating lies in its rapid and uniform heating capability, which penetrates the material’s surface to ensure even internal heat distribution. For leather or synthetic leather, appropriate heating softens the material, making it easier to stretch or reshape, thereby removing wrinkles. Infrared heating employs specific wavelengths of radiation to penetrate the surface layer of the material, softening internal fibers or molecular structures and reducing rigidity. Once softened, the material can more easily regain a flat shape through mechanical stretching, pressing, or its own weight.

Genuine leather is more temperature-sensitive, requiring lower temperatures and slower heating rates, while synthetic leather can withstand higher temperatures but must avoid melting. Therefore, during the wrinkle-removal process, infrared heating parameters (e.g., wavelength, temperature, duration) must be adjusted based on the material type.

Infrared Heating Lamp -Technical Principles
1. Infrared Lamp -Wavelength Matching
Genuine Leather (Natural Fibers):
Use medium-wave infrared heaing lamps (2–4 μm) for gradual heating to avoid protein denaturation and shrinkage caused by high temperatures.
Synthetic Leather (Polymer Materials):
Apply fast medium-wave infrared heating lamps (1.4–2 μm) for rapid penetration, softening the PVC/PU layer while preventing surface melting.
2. Infrared Lamp-Temperature Control
Genuine Leather: Maintain temperatures at 60–80°C.
Synthetic Leather: Operate at 80–120°C.
A PID temperature control system dynamically adjusts infrared heating to prevent thermal damage.
3. Uniformity Design By Infrared Heating
Utilize a multi-zone independently controlled infrared lamps matrix combined with gold-reflective-coated heating tubes to enhance radiation uniformity, ensuring temperature variations ≤5°C across the material.
4. Infrared Heating Time Optimization
Genuine Leather: Slow heating over 1–3 minutes to prevent localized overheating.
Synthetic Leather: Short, efficient cycles of 30–60 seconds to avoid insufficient softening.
