Laminated glass is typically constructed with a PVB or other comparable polymer interlayer sandwiched between two panes of glass. Even when the glass layers crack or get pulled apart, the interlayer still generally remains bonded to both sheets, keeping the two glass layers securely connected to one another.

 

A targeted narrow infrared heating zone effectively softens the exposed interlayer, enabling much more efficient material separation. For optimal results, heating must be tightly concentrated around the cutting line, rather than dispersed across the entire surface of the glass sheet. Engineered specifically for this application, our high-speed mid-wave dual-tube infrared emitter for glass cutting delivers precise, controllable linear heating. An integrated directional reflector focuses radiant energy directly onto the PVB strip, cutting down on unnecessary heat exposure to the surrounding glass. This is critical, as inconsistent heating leads to costly processing issues: overheating can damage glass edges or degrade the surrounding interlayer, while underheating leaves PVB too stiff to separate cleanly. Our customizable high-speed mid-wave infrared heating tubes can be tailored to application-specific requirements for heating width, length, and power output. This customization enables rapid, consistent heating and delivers clear improvements to overall cutting efficiency.

 

 

 

Twin tube fast response medium wave infrared heating lamp can be controlled and adjusted the output power by PLC or SCR regulator automatically, so we can have accurate(±1 ℃)IR heating temperature in industry process. The heating filaments can be desinged and work in 1200~1800℃ with 1~2 seconds fast response time, so the FMW IR lamp are widely used for fast heating application which needs heating temperature from 50~500℃.

 

Because of needing small installation space and flexible working position, our infrared quartz heating lamps are popular for industrial customers to repalce air heating and other high energy consumption electric heating elements, or customers prefer a combination heating solutions which includes circle hot air heating with fast efficient IR heatings.
