Fast response medium wave infrared radiator lamp can be switched on within 1～2 seconds. The especial fast medium wave can heat the surface and thin layers quickly. The heating filaments can be desinged and work during 1200～1800℃, so the FMW IR lamp are widely used for fast heating application which needs heating temperature from 50～500℃.

Along the cutting trajectory to install infrared heating lamps, the infrared heating will increase the temperature of glass rapidly, and the heat is passed to the surrounding area in the form of thermal conductivity, forming a thermal influence area along the infrared heating trajectory, especially the temperature on the cutting trajectory is going to be the highest. The upper and lower surface of the glass produces tensile stress, due to the temperature decreasing by air convection. At this time, the expansion and contraction of the glass material are the largest, and glass will be broken easier and this is the glass cutting way through IR heating lamp.
