Four Types of Single Tube Infrared Heating Lamps
According to the heating filament material and infrared radiation wavelength, E-DEN single tube quartz infrared heating lamps are mainly available in short wave, fast medium wave, carbon medium wave and medium wave configurations.
Short wave infrared heating lamps generally use tungsten alloy heating filaments and have a typical peak wavelength of approximately 1.0–1.4 μm. They provide fast response and high available radiation power density and are suitable for applications such as electronic heating, photovoltaic manufacturing, plastic processing and other industrial processes requiring rapid heating.
Fast medium wave infrared heating lamps typically operate in the 1.4–2.0 μm range and can be switched on and off within seconds. They are suitable for textile processing, coating machines, printing, ink drying and other surface heating applications requiring a fast response.
Carbon medium wave infrared heating lamps use carbon fiber heating filaments and typically operate in the 2.0–4.0 μm range. They are suitable for moisture drying, textile drying, latex-related drying processes, tea drying, agricultural products, vegetables and other materials. E-DEN's existing product information also lists moisture, ink, tea and agricultural product drying applications.
Medium wave infrared heating lamps can be used for moisture, paint and other industrial drying and heating processes. The lamp configuration can be selected according to the material, temperature and process requirements.
