Medium wave infrared lamps are particularly suitable for the fast heating of surface or thin materials, and the range of IR radiation wave is 2.2-4.0μm. Plastic, water and other solvents absorb well this medium wave radiation. Because of its long working life and economical efficiency, medium wave lamps are popular used in continuous heating processes, such as making natural herbal medicine or drying the tea in a continuous running oven.
Medium wave quartz infrared heater lamp can be made of quartz twin tube with sizes of 23×11mm or 33×15mm. The heating filament is Ni-Cr or Fe-Cr alloy material. The total length of twin tube medium wave IR heater lamp can be up to 6 meter. In order to better convey and focus on the heated material all the IR radiation emitted from the IR lamps, the special gold reflector or white reflector will be coated and fixed directly on the quartz surface.
