We cannot cut laminated glass directly, otherwise it will be broken. But if we heat up the temperature on glass by IR heat lamp, then we can cut the heated glass easier and safety. 

Twin tube is a better stable design for short wave, fast response medium wave, carbon medium wave and medium wave infrared heating lamps with high radiation density and high power intensity. The twin tube quartz sizes are 23×11mm and 33×15mm. The heating filament of infrared lamps can be designed by tungsten, Ni-Cr alloy and carbon fiber. In order to better convey and focus on the heated material all the IR radiation emitted from the lamps, the special gold reflector or ceramic white reflector will be coated and fixed directly on the quartz surface

 

The cutting trajectory is very small and along the cutting trajectory to install infrared heating lamps, the infrared heating will increase the temperature of glass rapidly, and the heat is passed to the surrounding area in the form of thermal conductivity, forming a thermal influence area along the infrared heating trajectory, especially the temperature on the cutting trajectory is going to be the highest. The fast heating raise the temperature and it causes the glass expansion to have compression stress. The upper and lower surface of the glass produces tensile stress, due to the temperature decreasing by air convection. At this time, the expansion and contraction of the glass material are the largest, and glass will be broken easier and this is the glass cutting way through IR heating lamp.
