How increase heating temperature with infrared quartz heat lamp?
1: Confirm your heating element types, replace your old high energy consumption resistance elements to transparent quartz infrared radiant heating lamps. It is well understood that as long as the temperature is higher than the temperature of other objects, heat transfer will occur naturally, so heat transfer is the main heating method of old resistance heating elements. For example, if we have 2 meter long heating oven with quartz infrared heating lamps, normally we need 100 ℃ for the heated objects, now we need to increase the heating temperature to 120℃, we can lower the conveyor speed to have a longer heating time if available, or we can increase 0.5 meter ~1 meter heating length to make the heated objects have more infrared radiation. 5: Improve Temperature Protection For Infrared Heating Areas If your heating oven is open or no temperature protection, we suggest you add an proection wall with insulation cotton along infrared heating lamps. Twin Tube Fast Response Medium Wave Infrared Emitters
Fast response medium-wave infrared emitters have the same product composition as short-wave infrared emitters. The sun is the source of heating energy, so the infrared quartz lamps are the heating source in industrial heating process. Infrared Heating Lamps are made of transparent quality quartz glass tubes and high temperature resistant alloy heating filaments. Quartz glass tubes as radiation body, when infrared lamps are working, the alloy heating filaments reach high temperature in seconds as a light source and emit out lots of infrared rays through quartz tube radiation body, meanwhile, surrounding objects will absorb these amounts of infrared rays from our quartz heating lamps and be heated very fast. If we install fast heating IR lamps in your machine or production lines, we can dry our products faster and increase our productivity. Infrared ray is a kind of electric wave, which propagates at the speed of light and carries high energy. Different types of infrared rays with the same power have different radiation intensity and different wavelengths. We encapsulate the high-temperature heating filaments (up to 2600°C) into quartz tube as an energy source of heating (quartz infrared heating lamp), when our quartz infrared lamp is power on, which radiates near-infrared, middle-infrared and far-infrared like sun. Short wave infrared heating lamp Shortwave infrared heating lamp can be designed with high heating power, the range of radiation wave is 1.0-1.4μm, it is particularly suited for fast response heating processes. This short wave infrared radiation penetrates more deeply into materials, as they can obtain infrared radiation full-efficiency within seconds. Meanwhile has the following advantages: 1. Fast response time, the heating temperature can rise and fall quickly 2. By combining with the reflection module, IR lamps can work in a small area by concentrating light or parallel irradiation 3. The lamp does not touch the heated object and can be used in a clean environment and no harmful 4. The working lamp is not disturbed by the atmosphere and external environment and can be used in a vacuum oven. 5. Inside of filaments can be designed and heat to 2200°C or higher, so the objects can be heated up to 1000°C or higher, depending on the material and size being heated. Medium wave infrared heating lamp Medium wave quartz infrared heater lamp are particularly suitable for the fast heating of surface or thin materials, and the range of IR radiation wave is 2.2-4.0μm. Plastic, water and other solvents absorb well this medium wave radiation. Because of its long working life (≥8000 hours)and economical efficiency, medium wave lamps are popular used in continuous heating processes, such as making natural herbal medicine or drying the tea in a continuous running oven. Medium wave IR lamp is made of quartz twin tube with sizes of 23×11mm or 33×15mm. The heating filament is Ni-Cr or Fe-Cr alloy material. The total length of twin tube medium wave IR lamp can be up to 6 meter. In order to better convey and focus on the heated material all the IR radiation emitted from the IR lamp, the special gold reflector or white reflector will be coated and fixed directly on the quartz surface.

The use of a coating reflectors on IR emitters will obtain an additional increase of the IR radiation energy to the heating material. So the heating efficiency and time will be faster than clear quartz tube IR emitters. Besides, through the appropriate distribution of the emitters inside the machinery and the distance from emitter to be heated material, it’s able to get a better reflective angle (60°~80°) for even heating temperature, especially the end parts of products. Ceramic white reflector infrared lamp Ceramic white reflector is a reflective ceramic layer, which directly fixed on the surface of quartz tube. It is able to reflect about 70% of the IR radiation to the heated object. And the ceramic white reflector can resist the heating temperature over 800℃. Gold reflector infrared lamp Gold reflector is a with gold layer, coated and fixed directly on the quartz tube. It is able to reflect about 90% of the IR radiation to the heated object. And the gold reflector can resist up to a working temperature about 600℃ by properly cooled.
