(Summary description)Why preheating before wave soldering? The preheating will heat printed circuit board (PCB) to a certain temperature to avoid thermal shock warping deformation. At present, the wave soldering machine is basically preheated in thermal radiation method. The common preheat methods of wave soldering include forced hot air convection, electric heating panel, electric heating rod and quartz infrared heating. The infrared preheating before soldering can raise the PCB board temperature quickly and activate the soldering flu, it also can vaporize any moisture that may be absorbed or to dilute the carrier solvent of the soldering flux during preheating process.

 

   

 

 

With the continuous improvement of wave soldering technology, different kinds of fluxes require a higher welding temperature. If the heating temperature is too high or the preheating time is too long, the flux is easy to be decomposed in advance, making the flux inactivated. In the same short time, our infrared heating is fast response and heat up quickly. And the heating temperature is more accurate and be controlled at ±1℃ by our SCR power controller.

Shortwave Twin Tube Quartz IR Lamp is made of 23×11mm or 33×15mm quartz double tube. The heating filament is tungsten alloy material. Twin tube shortwave infrared heating lamp can be designed with high heating power, the range of radiation wave is 1.0-1.4μm, it is particularly suited for fast response heating processes. This short wave infrared radiation penetrates more deeply into materials, as they can obtain infrared radiation full-efficiency within seconds. Meanwhile has the following advantages:

 

1. Fast response time, the heating temperature can rise and fall quickly

2. By combining with the reflection module, IR lamps can work in a small area by concentrating light or parallel irradiation

3. The lamp does not touch the heated object and can be used in a clean environment and no harmful

4. The working lamp is not disturbed by the atmosphere and external environment and can be used in a vacuum oven.

5. Inside of filaments can be designed and heat to 2200°C or higher, so the objects can be heated up to 1000°C or higher, depending on the material and size being heated.
