Tungsten Alloy Fast Medium Wave — Rapid Curing for Metal Powder Coatings
Tungsten-alloy fast response medium wave infrared lamps provide rapid response and high available radiation power density, making them suitable for metal powder coating processes requiring rapid heating.
For steel, aluminum, stainless steel and other metal products, fast medium wave infrared radiation can transfer heat rapidly to the workpiece and powder coating. The lamps can be used for powder coating preheating, melting and curing. Lamp spacing, radiation distance and zoned power control can be adjusted according to the workpiece dimensions and coating thickness.
Carbon Medium Wave and Medium Wave — Powder Coating on Non-Metal Substrates
For plastic, wood, leather, ceramic and selected composite substrates, carbon medium wave or medium wave infrared heating can be selected according to the thermal sensitivity of the material and the coating characteristics.
Carbon medium wave and medium wave lamps are suitable for stable continuous surface heating and can be used for powder coating and coating-curing processes on selected plastic parts, wood products, leather products and ceramic components. For heat-sensitive substrates, infrared power, lamp-to-workpiece distance and substrate temperature should be carefully controlled to reduce the risk of overheating, deformation or surface defects. E-DEN's existing medium wave infrared products and coating applications include wood board coatings, metal coatings, plastic film substrates, leather coatings and glass-related coating processes.
Quartz Infrared Heating Technology for Powder Coating Curing
Unlike heating systems that rely mainly on hot-air circulation, quartz infrared heating transfers radiant energy directly to the coating and workpiece. E-DEN's infrared lamps as flexible heating elements that can be positioned to focus infrared energy on effective heating areas. Output power can also be adjusted according to coating thickness, substrate and process requirements. Temperature sensors can be combined with PLC or SCR power control for real-time adjustment.
This makes quartz infrared heating suitable for continuous production lines, tunnel curing ovens and powder coating equipment requiring overall or zoned heating. Lamp quantity, spacing and heating zones can be designed according to the workpiece and coating process.
